Awesome erotica for awesome adults only
As part of my policy of trying to be a better team player in the Indie leagues, I’ve decided to start putting up reviews of books I read. Oddly, as an erotica author, I don’t read a huge amount of erotica.
This may explain some of what I write…
So, I’ve got a couple today that will be posted as separate entries because both of the authors deserve equal time. We’ll start it off with the longer of the two: C.C. Cartwright’s Close Encounters packaged as a single volume containing books 1 and 2. There are more books in the series, but I haven’t gotten off my lazy ass and read them yet.
Close Encounters details a bet among a group of young women in college about who can get to x number of close encounters (sex) first. The losers have to clean the apartment for the rest of the semester. The first two books detail Clarissa’s sexual conquest and hint at a second one, or at least a love triangle of sorts between her, her professor, and the hot guy who’s the son a multi-millionaire. Having been through college and known plenty of professors, I’d recommend Clarissa set her sights on the son of the multi-millionaire. Professors get pretty weird.
On the other hand, the prof knows not only how to freak her crazy, but also cook, so he might wind up being a keeper.
Close Encounters books 1 and 2 start off a bit rocky but as the pace picks up Cartwright gives us a good and sexy story with a not-so-subtle reminder of how much fun college actually was.
